You will be responsible for assisting in carrying out maintenance for the course. This will include maintenance of external areas, estate buildings and equipment. You will assist in preparing the course for racing – to include mowing, strimming, fertilising, weeding, spraying, ‘treading in’, aeration, rolling and seeding as required. You will need to use various gardening, agricultural equipment, machinery, vehicles and chemicals in the process of carrying out your duties.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a fast paced and demanding environment. You will work well under pressure and will be organised and efficient.  Any experience within a similar role will be a significant advantage.

Arena Racing Company have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Experience Designer to join the Digital team. This role will be part of our Central Marketing department based at our Wolverhampton Racecourse.

The Digital Experience Designer is responsible for the look & feel of all ARC digital properties. These include websites for each of the 16 racecourse venues operated by the group plus a range of corporate websites and the UI for internally designed support systems. The job holder is the primary day to day contact between the Digital team and the racecourse teams, interpreting their requirements and translating them into digital friendly designs and user journeys for implementation by the Digital team.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong digital design/UX/UI experience
  • Experience of delivering responsive or device independent design solutions
  • Focus on user journeys and user experience
  • Designing for multichannel experiences including web, social and email
  • Experience of working within or alongside an Agile development team
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles (meta-data) to optimise page designs

  • Open and close shift in accordance with manager’s checklist

  • Ensure room set up is completed appropriately and to customer requirements.
