The Hotel and Country Club Manager is responsible for the professional, efficient and cost effective day to day operation of the Hotel and Country Club; ensuring high quality customer care and satisfaction is delivered at all times. To ensure all departments operate within the budgeted guidelines and guest and staff welfare are paramount at all times. The successful candidate will be proactive, accurate and highly motivated with a positive attitude towards work. The candidate should also possess a minimum 3 years’ experience in a Hotel Manager role.

Key responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Responsible for the day to day operation of the Hotel & Country Club
  • Leading and supporting the hotel based heads of department
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the customer journey
  • Ensuring revenue targets are met
  • Ensure that the Marriott Brand Standard Audit is successfully passed

This role will be based in our Doncaster Racecourse, , a unique venue welcoming over 225,000 visitors to 36 racedays delivering an exhilarating mix of horse racing, live music and fantastic events.

This is a newly created role, so therefore we are looking for someone who is proactive and can hit the ground running. The Group Payroll Manager is responsible for managing payroll for 20 locations across the group for Arena Racing Company. Providing payroll delivery and support to the wider business, and ensuring that monthly and weekly in-house payrolls are processed on time and all statutory accounting is complete. You will manage the Group Payroll Coordinator and as a team you will deliver monthly and weekly payrolls for circa 5000 Staff. Managing the end to end payroll process from submission to financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Qualification within Payroll or similar is an advantage
  • 5+ years payroll experience managing multiple payrolls in an outsourced environment

Lingfield Park Resort is seeking a driven Public Area Cleaner to work within the existing Housekeeping team. At Lingfield Park Resort there is a strong culture based on recruiting and developing individuals who embody the ‘Spirit to Serve’.

The main purpose of this role is to clean all public spaces, including public and employee restrooms and showers. Clean glass in public and employee areas. Clean floor surfaces in public or employee space using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Dust surfaces in assigned area. Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areas into proper containers. You may on occasions be required to assist in the cleaning of Guest rooms or other areas of the Resort outside the normal scope of your duties.

Doncaster Racecourse is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join the team in a newly created role to drive the content marketing strategy for all aspects of the business. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and developing raceday campaigns with a particular focus on digital marketing.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a natural flair for creativity and communication. You need to be a brilliant writer with an eye for design and have the marketing knowledge to transform these skills to showcase the venue to the widest audience.

Key responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Create campaign plans for feature racedays to ensure general attendance targets are met
  • Create inspiring and informative content for the website and blog using knowledge of content marketing trends and skills to increase reach, engagement and conversions.
  • Write, design, build, automate and manage all email campaigns across the sales process, segmenting the database effectively and creating bespoke messages for each segment.
  • Manage the venue’s digital advertising campaigns including Adwords, PPC and Facebook ensuring CPC and conversion rates are maximised.
  • Manage the radio partnership to create interesting campaigns using promo code to measure campaign success and reach
  • Research and write impactful PR content and manage relationships with key titles
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to build an engaging brand across the whole marketing mix, developing an in-depth understanding of the company’s ethos, vision and aims and how our brand can continue to support these goals.

Junior Sous Chef - Lingfield

This is a wonderful opportunity for a Chef de Partie, with at least 2 years’ experience who is looking to take the next step in their career. This positon offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work with our Hotel Head Chef and Sous Chef, to support less experienced chefs and to ensure that a high standard of food quality, food safety is delivered.

This is a diverse role providing breakfast, lunch and dinner service in the 100 cover Cyprium Grill Restaurant, and food during the day and evening for the two hotel bars to guests, Spa customers, golfers and resort customers. In addition the hotel kitchen provides food for room service and the conferences and events situated within the hotel.

You will work closely with the front of house teams to ensure orders are delivered promptly and to high standards to food quality to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and positive response to customer requests. You will be customer service focused and pro-active with a motivated ‘spirit to serve’ attitude, and excellent leadership, teamwork and communication skills. You must also have a valid level 2 Food Safety certificate. Owing to the nature of our business evening and weekend working is required for this position.

Clean and organize items stored in laundry room, supply/storage closets, linen room, and/or uniform room. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.

Brighton Racecourse has an exciting job opportunity for a Financial Controller to join the Finance team. We are looking for someone who is ready for a challenge and can hit the ground running.

The Financial Controller is to work alongside the Executive Director and senior management of ARC, as well as the senior team at the racecourse to ensure the continued growth and secure financial health of the business. You will provide expert financial guidance and hold overall responsibility for the respective courses financial strategy to deliver the business objectives. This will include effective management of the courses capital budgets, debt and working capital position, IT and accounting systems and compliance with all legislative and audit requirements.

The successful candidate will be a qualified member of an accountancy body or hold an equivalent qualification, as well as possess significant post-graduation experience.
