NEW ALL-WEATHER CHAMPIONSHIPS LEADERBOARDS ONLINE

The first leaderboards, which show horses qualified for the six very valuable Finals of the All-Weather Championships, have been uploaded online to www.awchampionships.co.uk.

These leaderboards, updated every Wednesday morning by Weatherbys, show the official rating of each horse who has already qualified for the new £1-million All-Weather Championships Finals Day at Lingfield Park on Good Friday, April 18, 2014 and can be found at http://www.awchampionships.co.uk/leaderboards.

Horses qualify for the six championship contests on £1-million All-Weather Championships Finals Day by running in a minimum of three races at Britains All-Weather tracks - three owned by ARC, Lingfield Park, Southwell and Wolverhampton, and The Jockey Clubs Kempton Park - between October 26 and April 12 or else by succeeding in one of the 16 Fast-Track Qualifiers.

Seven of the Fast-Track Qualifiers have been run and the winners gain free and guaranteed places in the respective final.

The six Finals at Lingfield Park on Good Friday, April 18, 2014, are:
The £150,000 32Red.com Three-Year-Old Final, 7f
The £150,000 bookmakers.co.uk Sprint Final, 6f
The £150,000 Ladbrokes Mile Final, 1m
The £150,000 32Red.com Marathon Final, 2m
The £150,000 32Red.com Fillies & Mares Final, 7f
The £200,000 Coral Middle Distance Final, 10f

The safety factors for each of the Finals is also shown on the leaderboards, Participation is decided by the highest official ratings. In the event of two or more horses being rated the same for a place in the All-Weather Championships Finals Races, the places in the Championship Final will be awarded based on the following tie-breaking count-back rules - 1) number of wins in the qualifying period, 2) number of seconds in the qualifying period, 3) number of thirds in the qualifying period, 4) number of fourths in the qualifying period and 5) random ballot.

Jim Allen, Racing Director of ARC, commented today: The leaderboards will inform owners, trainers, jockeys and the public about which horses are currently qualified for the six exciting races on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, Good Friday, April 18 at Lingfield Park.

There is still plenty of time for horses to become qualified, either through running three times in an All-Weather race by April 12 or by winning one of the nine remaining Fast-Track Qualifiers. The next Fast-Track Qualifier is at Lingfield Park on Wednesday, January 22 and the winner gains free and guaranteed entry into the £150,000 32Red.com Marathon Final.

2) 16/11/13 Listed coral.co.uk Churchill Stakes, Lingfield Park, Prince Alzain (Gerard Butler/Oisin Murphy) gained a guaranteed place, with free entry, in the £200,000 Coral Middle Distance Final, run over 10 furlongs, on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, Good Friday, April 18, 2014 at Lingfield Park.

3) 16/11/13 Listed Best Odds At bookmakers.co.uk Golden Rose Stakes, Lingfield Park, Valbchek (Jeremy Noseda/Shane Kelly), secured a guaranteed place, with free entry, in the £150,000 bookmakers.co.uk Sprint Final, run over six furlongs, on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, Good Friday, April 18, 2014 at Lingfield Park.

4) 20/11/2013 Listed Winners Are Welcome At Betdaq EBF Stallions Hyde Stakes, Kempton Park, Sirius Prospect (Dean Ivory/Robert Winston) gained a guaranteed place, with free entry, in the £150,000 Ladbrokes Mile Final on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, Good Friday, April 18, 2014 at Lingfield Park.

5) 23/11/2013 32Red Conditions Stakes, Lingfield Park, Complicit (Paul Cole/Graham Lee) won in course record time and secured a guaranteed free place in the £150,000 32Red.com Three-Year-Old Final over seven furlongs on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, Good Friday, April 18, 2014 at Lingfield Park.

6) 11/01/2014 Ladbrokes Conditions Stakes, Lingfield Park, Grey Mirage (Marco Botti/Martin Harley) gained a guaranteed place, with free entry, in the £150,000 Ladbrokes Mile Final on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, Good Friday, April 18, 2014 at Lingfield Park.

7) 15/01/2014 Winners Are Welcome At Betdaq Conditions Stakes, Kempton Park, Alutiq (Eve Johnson Houghton/Jamie Spencer) gained a guaranteed free place in the £150,000 32Red.com Three-Year-Old Final over seven furlongs at Lingfield Park on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, Good Friday, April 18, 2014.
