ARC HOSTS MADNESS TOUR 2013

The Legendary pop/ska band Madness is booked to perform in June at two ARC racecourses as part of their planned summer tour. Suggs and the boys played on the roof of Buckingham Palace in 2012 as part of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations and then raised the roof at Doncaster racecourse soon after, attracting a sell-out crowd for the night of 20,000. They played out at the Olympic closing ceremony and have remained one of the most popular bands in recent history. Their well-known songs loved across all generations include: It must be love, Baggy Trousers and House of Fun. Members of the band will be appearing as guests on the ITV Jonathan Ross Show this Saturday to launch their new season tour promotion.

Chepstow Racecourse promises to be a ‘House of Fun’ when it becomes host to the opening night of the Madness 2013 tour on Friday 14th June after evening racing, this is also Chepstows first live music night of the summer, tickets are on sale now via the web site www.chepstow-racecourse.co.uk or telephone: 01291 622260

Newcastle Racecourse is also proud to be part of Madness’s summer tour at one of its feature race meetings of the year on the second day of the three day John Smiths Northumberland Plate Festival, Friday 28th June.
