All-Weather Tracks (AWT)

Arena Racing Company has been leading the way on all-weather tracks since 1989 when we staged the pioneering all-weather fixture at Lingfield Park.

Our all-weather tracks play host to an intensive race programme all year round and with continued investment we are setting the standards for others to follow.

Lingfield Park

We complimented Lingfield Park's recent regeneration with a newly resurfaced polytrack to make it a leading state-of-the-art racecourse for both flat and jump horseracing.

Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton's polytrack and floodlighting has helped make it the UK's busiest racecourse.

Southwell

Suitable for flat racing, Southwell Racecourse's rare blend of charm, excitement and comfort combine to make it one of the East Midlands' premier sporting venues.

Newcastle

In 2015, ARC announced an £11 million development of Newcastle Racecourse, including the introduction of a Tapeta All-Weather surface, the first of its kind in the north of England. Once open in May 2016, Newcastle will provide the only floodlit All-Weather straight mile in the world.

All of our All-Weather tracks are part of the All-Weather Championships series. Follow the stars throughout the season on our dedicated website www.awchampionships.co.uk. On the site you will be able to follow race results and category leaderboards throughout the season plus read about the top horses, trainers and jockeys.
