Euro 2024 Competition - Competition Terms and Conditions
1. The “Euro 2024” Competition (“the Competition”) is a giveaway organised by Arena Racing Company at each Racecourse it owns and operates (each a “Promoter”). The Competition is open to UK and Irish residents only, who are aged 18 years and over.
2. The Competition prize will be dependent on the official outcome of the Euro 2024 Final game between England and Spain scheduled to take place on Sunday 14 July at 20:00pm.
3. Gift vouchers will be issued in accordance with Arena Racing Company’s standard Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions:
3. Employees/personnel of Arena Racing Company and its companies are not eligible to enter the Competition.
4. By entering the competition, Entrants are confirming they are happy to receive marketing information from Arena Racing Company and it’s 16 racecourses. Entrants will have the option to opt out of each marketing email.
5. The Competition will run from 12 July 2024 and will close at 19:59 (UK time) on Sunday 14 July.
6. To enter the Competition, entrants must click the link provided that will redirect them to a form, where they shall insert their name, email address and select their preferred racecourse (the “Entry”). Entries will close at 19:59 (UK time) on Sunday 14 July 2024.
7. Only one Entry is permitted per person. In the event of a person submitting more than one Entry, ALL entries from that person will be void. A winner or winners (the “Winner”) will be selected by random from all valid Entries submitted on the website before the closing date and time.
8. Incomplete entries will be void.
7. The Prize or Prizes will be attributed to the relevant Winner or Winners following the result of the Euro 2024 Final. The Winner or Winners will be notified by email to the email address provided when submitting their Entry on or before Wednesday 17 July 2024 and given details of how to claim their prize. If a Winner does not respond to the relevant Promoter within 24 hours of being notified, then that Winner’s Prize will be forfeited. A Winner whose Prize has been forfeited is not entitled to payment or compensation of any kind.
8. The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-endorsable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes. Arena Racing Company retains the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original Prize offered is not available.
9. Arena Racing Company shall not be responsible for lost or misdirected messages, unavailable network connections, failed incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, online failures, hardware, software or other communications failures or circumstances affecting receipt or entrants ability to participate in the Competition or if any racing or any other event applicable to the Competition is cancelled for any reason or any circumstances affecting a Winner’s ability to access or use their Prize or for any Event of Force Majeure.
* "Event of Force Majeure" means:
a fire, flood, lightning, storm, earthquake or other similar geological or metrological event or condition or Act of God, national emergency, diseases, epidemic, pandemic, war, act of terrorism, riot or criminal act or damage, strike, lockout or other industrial action not involving ARC employees (to the extent such failure is beyond the reasonable control of ARC) or any other event beyond the control of ARC. The entrant acknowledges and agrees that any disruption caused by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) or similar diseases (such as the temporary or permanent closure of the venues) shall constitute an Event of Force Majeure.
10. The entrant consents to the use of their name, for advertising or publicity purposes without additional compensation. The entrant’s personal information will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Policy accessible on https://www.arenaracingcompany.co.uk/privacy-policy. From time to time, Arena Racing Company may send the entrants details of its products, services (and those of selected marketing partners) and/or competitions. The entrant can unsubscribe from this information service at any time.
11. The prize winner(s) and their Prize companion(s) must comply with the Terms and Conditions of Entry of the Racecourses involved in the provision of the prize. In particular, the Winner and their Prize companion(s) must comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
13. By entering the Competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in the information about the Competition.
14. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English Law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
