Tracking data from all 59 British racecourses, provided by Coursetrack and Total Performance Data (TPD), is now available for race fans and punters via one complete database.

Data from Coursetrack, which creates the GPS tracking for 35 Racecourse Media Group (RMG) racecourses, and Total Performance Data, which covers 24 Arena Racing Company (ARC) and independent racecourses, have combine to create a single database for sectional times from all British races.

Under the new joint-agreement between RMG, ARC, TPD and At The Races (ATR), TPD will exclusively license the complete British database to end users via a feed of non-live coordinate data and sectional times.

The creation of the new joint database means that all sectional times are available on racingtv.com and attheraces.com. In addition, race fans can purchase tracking data for all UK races from TPD (totalperformancedata.com).

RMG CEO, Martin Stevenson, said: “Timing data can revolutionise how we look at horseracing and, by collaborating with ARC, ATR and TPD, we are delighted to create a new easy-to-navigate database with data from all British racecourses. It means race fans and punters will have all this valuable data at their fingertips in the one place.”

TPD Commercial Director, John McBroom, said: “This is a significant milestone for British racing fans. With all tracking data now consolidated into a single database, the sectional times in a horse's form profile are now complete and easy to access. Our Operations Director, George Deedes, has worked tirelessly to deliver this project and we thank ARC, ATR and RMG for their collaboration.”

ARC Managing Director of Media and International, Brendan Parnell, said: “This exciting development is the latest industry collaboration with RMG which puts racing fans at the centre of an improved customer experience. Access to the latest tracking and timing data gives punters a one-stop shop to improve their form and betting analysis.”

ATR Director of New Media & Innovation, Matthew Taylor, said: “Having all the UK sectional timing data available on attheraces.com is great news for our digital audience. Data from ATR and RMG tracks can now be presented in a consistent format that our website visitors are already familiar with, allowing them to compare performances quickly and easily. We look forward to further developing the service to include colour-coded par information, stride data and other innovations.”
